Dragon Ball fans in South Korea will soon be able to step inside the world of Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, Cell, and many other legendary characters.
Dragon Ball: Heroes Rise Asia Tour will open in Seoul on August 22, 2026, bringing an immersive exhibition filled with recreated scenes, life-sized character displays, interactive challenges, and dedicated photo zones.
The limited-time event will remain open until November 15, 2026, at Stage X Seongsu 403.
Following previous stops in Bangkok and Taipei, the Seoul edition promises something much larger than a conventional anime merchandise pop-up.
Enter the World of Dragon Ball
Dragon Ball: Heroes Rise celebrates the battles, rivalries, friendships, and personal journeys that have shaped the Dragon Ball story.
The exhibition follows Goku and other famous characters as they grow stronger, overcome powerful enemies, and continue pushing beyond their limits.
Visitors will move through themed areas inspired by memorable moments from across the Dragon Ball franchise. The experience combines recreated scenes, character installations, interactive activities, animation, sound, and photo opportunities inside a story-driven exhibition route.
For longtime fans, the exhibition offers an opportunity to revisit some of the series’ most unforgettable battles. For younger visitors or people discovering Dragon Ball for the first time, it should also provide an exciting introduction to the characters and energy that made the franchise a worldwide phenomenon.
More Than 40 Full-Scale Character Displays
One of the biggest attractions of the Heroes Rise Asia Tour is its collection of character statues and installations.
The touring exhibition features more than 40 full-scale character displays, including popular heroes and villains such as:
- Goku
- Vegeta
- Frieza
- Cell
- Majin Buu
- Broly
- Piccolo
- Gohan
The characters are presented throughout recreated battle scenes and themed environments, allowing visitors to stand beside some of Dragon Ball’s most recognisable heroes and villains.
The Seoul promotional material also appears to feature characters and moments from several different eras of the franchise, including classic Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and later stories.
Try the Kamehameha and Fusion Techniques
Heroes Rise is not designed as a display-only exhibition.
Interactive content will allow visitors to take part in challenges inspired by some of Dragon Ball’s most famous techniques.
Fans will be able to experience activities based on the legendary Kamehameha Wave and recreate the iconic Fusion technique with another participant.
The Seoul event is also being promoted with:
- Interactive exhibition content
- Participatory games
- Character statues and installations
- Immersive animation and sound
- Specially designed photo zones
- Memorable certification-style photo opportunities
These activities should make the exhibition especially appealing to families, groups of friends, and fans who want something more engaging than a traditional gallery.
Exclusive Merchandise May Also Be Available
Previous stops on the Heroes Rise Asia Tour have included limited-edition exhibition merchandise and a mobile app experience.
At earlier locations, visitors could use the app to collect virtual Dragon Balls, complete challenges, and unlock special souvenirs. The wider tour has also promoted merchandise created specifically for the exhibition.
However, the Seoul ticket page has not yet published a complete merchandise list or confirmed whether every mobile activity from previous stops will return.
Fans should wait for additional Seoul-specific announcements before planning their purchases.

A Major Dragon Ball Event for Seoul
Dragon Ball: Heroes Rise looks set to become one of Seoul’s largest anime exhibitions of 2026.
With dozens of full-scale characters, interactive battle challenges, recreated scenes, and immersive themed environments, this is much more ambitious than the average temporary pop-up store.
The planned one-hour experience makes it feel closer to a temporary Dragon Ball attraction or themed museum.
The ₩28,000 standard ticket price may feel expensive for casual visitors, but the ₩22,400 early-bird price makes the event considerably more attractive, especially for dedicated Dragon Ball fans who want to see the characters and battles brought to life.
Whether you grew up watching Goku’s earliest adventures or joined the franchise through Dragon Ball Super, Heroes Rise could be one of the best opportunities to experience the Dragon Ball universe in Seoul.
Dragon Ball: Heroes Rise Asia Tour opens at Stage X Seongsu 403 on August 22, 2026.
Early-bird ticket sales end on August 16, 2026.
